That&#8217;s a staggering number of people. In fact, linked arm to arm, a human chain would wrap around\u00a0the equator\u00a0roughly\u00a0175 times or extend to the moon and back about\u00a0nine times, according to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/technology\/story\/2011\/10\/27\/f-population-big-numbers.html\" target=\"_blank\">CBC\/Radio-Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bearing this image in mind, we can be forgiven for believing that there are more humans roaming the Earth today than during all of history and prehistory combined.
